Fees & Services

I offer a variety of services customized to meet your needs, as follows:

  • Individual, in person, psychotherapy sessions. One hour or one half hour.
  • Group therapy.
  • Psychotherapy "Intensives": Two hour sessions focused on to a specific need or circumstance.
  • Consultations.
  • Telephone psychotherapy sessions or consultations.
  • Seminars and workshops.

The frequency of your visits is usually determined by a discussion that takes place during our initial meeting. In this meeting we will talk about why you are seeking therapy and what you hope to gain from it. Typically, people arrange to have sessions every week or every other week. Other options may be available depending on your individual needs. These options may include meeting more or less frequently, sessions of a greater or lesser length than the average 50-minute session, and group therapy.

My fee for an individual, 50-minute session is $115, and my fee for a half hour session is $60.

Certain kinds of insurance (for example, insurance with out-of-network benefits) will typically provide coverage for my services. However, I do not accept any managed care. If you intend to use your insurance policy for therapy and coverage is critically important to you, you should confirm your coverage for my services prior to our first meeting.

For your protection and confidentiality I recommend that, if possible, you pay for your therapy without using insurance. Insurance companies will often restrict the number of sessions they will authorize for financial reasons alone, even if you feel you still need help. Also, they require me to disclose highly personal information about you, the confidentiality and privacy of which cannot be guaranteed.
